Yes, a domain name must be purchased before you can publish your website with us.
How do I sign Up?
You can start with a free trial, or sign up for a monthly subscription. We don’t collect your credit card until you’ve determined Surfcrab is the right product for you.
How do I cancel the service?
Canceling Surfcrab is an easy and no-questions-asked process. It’s done online right from your site manager.
How much does it cost to process payments?
Surfcrab integrates with Stripe and accepts credit card payments directly to your bank account. This is included in the monthly payment plan and has 0% transaction fees. Sign up for an account with Stripe in minutes and start accepting payments immediately.
Do you sell domains?
No. You can purchase a domain (and connect it to your Surfcrab account) right from your website manager. Go to Publish, then Domains within any paid Surfcrab account. Or, if you would like to start by buying a domain before you set up a website with us, you can do so here.

Can I download my website?
No. Surfcrab is a fully-managed web service. We do not have plans to make a downloadable version. Surfcrab does provide many standard methods for exporting your data.
